The Meseta has him now!

Left Burgos at 7am this morning

I had my routine couple of coffee and a sandwich to set me on my way.

El Cid greeted me to tell me to stop whining and start walking.

It did not take long to get out of the town into the Meseta. Vast expanse of nothing. Just as far as you can see fields , flat and swaying in the wind.

16 miles later landed in the village of Hornillos del Camino.

Hornillos del Camino is a small, picturesque village in the province of Burgos, Spain, renowned for its historic role as a resting point for pilgrims traveling along the Camino de Santiago.

Managed to find a bar and lentil soup with beer😂

Do not recognize any other pilgrims.

Very peaceful and serene.
