Made it to Zubiri on the next leg of my hike. It seems strange to say that it was 14 easy miles with an elevation gain of only 1500 feet. After yesterday’s grueling challenge, I arrived mid afternoon to enjoy the town.
Zubiri is in the heart of Spain’s Navarra region, a pivotal stop on my Camino de Santiago journey crossing the historic “Puente de la Rabia” over the Arga River.
Tonight in a room with two bunk beds with three South Koreans that do not speak English but politely just smile and bow.
Today met the normal boring English and American pilgrims mixed with Dutch / German / Denmark / Irish / New Zealand / Australians / Portuguese.
