El Burgo Ranero

approximately 20 miles again today and 40,000

and guess what same tomorrow.

The one promising thing is there was a start of elevations towards the end of the hike.
and it would be a lot more accurate to call this a walk at this stage and not a hike

it really is a strange feeling to wake up at 6 AM and think what am I doing today? Oh yes, I’m gonna walk 20 miles ’ What did I do yesterday and again tomorrow……….

had my community dinner with two Dutch and one Belgium tonight. Had a three course meal for $14 that included a bottle of wine.

I have about 40 miles to go and then the Meseta should be behind me….

I did post earlier that I have crossed the halfway mark now. And that’s a good feeling.
